I just emailed the following message to Connected Coast-to-Coast with Ron Reagan and Monica Crowley on MSNBC: Connected Coast-to-Coast with Ron Reagan and Monica Crowley: "Well, I may not be the first person to point this out ... "As I see it, the problem with "Connected Coast-to-Coast" is not the show per se, which might work well with some tweaking. It is that the two hosts are on different coasts and don't appear to know each other well. Consequently, there is no real dialogue or chemistry between them. They merely fire questions at their guests mechanically (almost like they are reading a script). "I would suggest that, if the hosts are willing to put the success of the show ahead of their choices of residence, they move into the same metropolitan area and host the show from the same studio." posted at 04:31:49 PM by Dr. Mark A. The claim that a humanly devised indexing system is not interpretation is essentialism or ontological realism.

It would be even better if they would add real people to it. ;-)
These are all my jokes. I just made them up. Should I be proud?
I drive on the wrong side of the road for laughs. Does that make me British?
How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?
Angels are a cautious lot. They will only dance on safety pins.
Those British refugees who weren't libertarian enough to qualify for New Zealand got sent to the penal colony in Australia.
God provides opportunities and directions. He does not micromanage the world. One of the points of living in this world is to willingly seek out those opportunities and directions when they appear.
I prefer Mario Cuomo's approach. He despises abortion personally, rejects the view of the pro-choice movement (that abortion is a function of reproductive freedom), but he does not want to see it legislated. Thus, there are more than two positions on abortion.
Choice isn't an achievement. It is an expression of the human condition. The issues surrounding abortion are too complex to legislate it. However, affirming the importance of human responsibility, will, or conscience is different from a belief in reproductive freedom.
From Bennett Cerf, on What's My Line?:
"What did the London Tower say to the Leaning Tower of Pisa? "I have the time, and you have the inclination."
