Prof. Naomi Chazan just said on C-SPAN that the heavens are God's, but that He has given the earth to us. Therefore, if anything goes wrong in this world, we cannot blame God. It is out own fault.

Given the latest offensive comments by Pat Robertson and Bill O'Reilly, I have concluded that "America" is actually a name for a terminal disease, and the more one lives in the U.S., the more likely one is likely to contract it.

One can make a relative claim by grounding one's claim in a particular context or set of relationships while not universalizing it to other contexts.

Questioner: Do you believe in Plato?
Responder: Sure, when I was a kid, I loved Play-Dough. Using Play-Dough, one can create all sorts of ideal forms.
