MF.N
is a sociological research project on synchronous and asynchronous
computer telecommunications. Examples would include websites,
email lists, bulletin boards, chat rooms, and instant messaging.
Dr.
Foster has degrees in both sociology and journalism. A past present
of the Kansas Sociological Association, he is Professor of
Sociology at Johnson
County Community College,
one of the top-ranked two-year higher educational institutions in
the United States. It is located in the Kansas City bedroom community
of Overland Park, Kansas.
From the
Heart of America to the World
Foster
was born in the New York City borough of Manhattan and raised the
boroughs of the Bronx and Queens. He subsequently moved to Long
Island, New York; Athens, Georgia; White Plains, New York;
Starkville, Mississippi; Wise, Virginia; and Macon, Georgia.
Currently, he lives in Olathe, Kansas, a Kansas City suburb.
