If you need a Windows FTP (file transfer protocol) client to upload your site to a server, I suggest WS_FTP (from Ipswitch). I am a registered Ipswitch associate and am authorized to make this program, which comes in three flavors, available on one of the servers I use:
- WS_FTP LE: freeware (no longer updated)
- WS_FTP Home: shareware
- WS_FTP Professional: shareware
